I’ve had this camera for about 3 months now and so far it’s holding up great. For the price point this is a really good deal but I only gave 4 stars because I want to see how it will hold up in a year, 2 years, 3 years, etc. Longevity is very important for these kinds of products so lets see how it does.

Pros: I paid $299 when it was on sale. It comes with the front and rear cam with USB and the appropriate cables to make it work. The overall video quality seems to be ok, need to set it to 2.5k which only applies to the front cam. During the day the quality is fine. The installation was great. They came to my parking lot and installed into my car. The technician explained to me everything. He mentioned that he installed a hardwire kit for the parking monitor in my car which I can use in the future another dash cam easily.
Cons: The video quality is ok but at night, it’s not the greatest. During the day, it is very hard to read license plates especially when cars are moving. License plates can be read if you and the car in front of you are fully stopped and relatively close. During the day, it is still a bit hard to read the license plate for the car behind you even if fully stopped. The quality of the rear cam is just not that good. At night, it’s even worse but hey if you need a dash cam that can read license plates, you’re probably looking at something premium with installation at $500+.

Nothing about these is great but they do work and they cost less than half what others cost. we have them in 4 cars for 4 months and they still work.

So far so good, I haven’t had any problems yet! Highly recommend!
They are installed with hardwire and cost 249 CAD, and the device itself only costs 50 CAD. Nowadays 2 pizzas cost. That’s why, don’t expect the highest video quality, and the customer service representative and technician mentioned video quality is not highest a couple of times. They offered me a more expensive model, but I chose the cheaper one. The technician did a great job with the installation, and they followed up with a call a few days later.

I’m not looking for the highest quality in this department, just looking for it to work and be able to see plates at night and that it goes. The app isn’t the best but you could pull anything you need off of the memory card.
